    Default attempted to solder leds

    Mate came round with a iron not adjustable and a old light switch took it apart desolder the old leds Iand came to put blue on the tip was quite thick so ut was hard not to touch the board in the end I got only 2 working but I blame the tip and the iron as was burning the leds

    I use a 15w fixed temp antex iron with a .5mm tip. You'll do well to solder the leds on the steering controls (0805) with anything bigger. Don't worry about getting a little bit of warmth on the board though... as long as it's not for too long.

    The one am getting is a temp control so it will be on low till I get the hang of it
