It really depends on how deep the scratch is , its possible to take the scratch out with a da , most repair kits just leave a flush glob of paint which will never match . your not to far from khalid (happie postie ) in slough and either of us would give it a go for you

There is some scum in the world.

I found my local Chipsaway guy was pretty good, might be worth a shot.

If its down to the primer it will need paint to remove it completely

Using a da or rotary will only lower the paint around the scratch to help hide the scratch

Use one of those touch up pens and let it completely dry, wet sand the scratch with 1500 then 2000 grit wet n dry then polish up with the da

Or simply try a black felt tip pen (the ones for writing on CD's etc) to darken the primer. It is surprising how much it can hide.

Use a permanent marker for a lasting repair, lol No seriously I sold a black Corsa a few weeks ago that was mint apart from a deep scratch that had gone down to the primer on one door-used a marker pen on that and it was very difficult to find it afterwards. Have also used Swedges repair in the past and that works well!
