    Default power steering fluid color

What color should the power steering fluid be??
I was told it was green a few days ago by my mechanic.
Now he has changed the steering rack the guy who specializes in them said to use the red stuff. He asked if he was sure and he said he specializes in them so should know.
    Is it Red or Green?
    What is the difference?

The green is mineral based fluid! Think the red is normally ATF fluid. Just don't mix it I've none people to use the red and its been ok. but people say it can do seals in!
