    Did the really think that his method for removing bugs was a good one??!! Some things just defy belief!!

    I think you might be surprised, but it's not that difficult. I am no expert but I bought a das-6 last week and got an old wing from a scrapyard. Practised on it by using a Brillo pad on the wing to create much the same effect as the car bonnet in the pictures. With some trial and error I managed to get the wing looking pretty good and the Brillo marks pretty much all gone in 1/2 hour or so.
