    Default Debadging help please

    Debadging my motor. Removed badges over indicators fine. Letters/numbers on boot chrome again removed without issue. However the griffin badge on boot putting up stubborn resistance. Had heat it up with hair dryer which removed badge but not adhesive. Any tips? Help appreciated.

    try a little tar remover mate then some rubbing compound that should take it off

    A rubber sanding block will shift it, then polish off the rubber marks...

    I used heat gun to get the Griffin off. Then my nails with the heat gun. I used petrol to get the rest off with some good rubbing. Petrol didn't do any harm on the paintwork. Then t-cut and polish around 3-4 times to get rid of the faint outline. Done my whole car in about 1 hour and a half inc. sides.

    I used lighter fluid works a treat and a bit of elbow grease lol

    elbow grease should do just fine the cold weather atm probably isnt helping tho

    i used brasso on the GSI when the de-badge left a halo effect - worked a treat

    Cheers thanks for replies. Will probably get some tar remover and start with that. Don't worry, will only try brillow pad if wall paper scraper don't work. Thanks again.
