    Default are mintex pads ok

all my pads rattle or clunk at the moment, cheap ones from ebay. was thinking gm all round but remembered mintex are good. im going to discs aswell. are mintex as good as GM ones , do they fit properly, no rattles. front discs are 285 and rears are 278, worth a go or stick to GM, its an 04 2.2 dti sri

I've heard this rattling issue. I only fit the VX pads for this reason.

Check with your local dealers, as they do a brilliant price for full front or rear kits. Very often a lot cheaper and better quality than on e-bay, especially if you are going to fit them yourself.

i bought the dics and pads deal from these guys for my Vectra B just before i sold it, was good value and they arrived quickly but the discs are made in china. Not too sure how good the quality would be in the long run and not sure id want chinese parts in my brake system!

I had mintex pads and discs on a Focus and they were fine... lasted longer than the rest of the car.
