Sob sob! Bumped me bumper!

Driving cautionary slow to get home last night, going to the corner junction , snow every where, blanketed the road with snow. Turning into junction, car start to carry on straight for signpost! Thinking fast, damn, cant do anything. Ice under snow and i have to brake as i was skidding faster than i was going (5 mph) braking helped slow me down but not soon enough!

BUMP!!!

Nearly centre of front bumper bumped sign post, signpost now at a angle,

Broken numperplate, dented bottom and centre of bumper!

As least it wasnt the car or lamp post or a house or fence! It'll be worst than hitting signpost!!!

5 minutes later finally on gritted road. At mini bricked roundabout! Signalling to go 2nd exit. The oncoming 4x4 ****** AUDI idiot hand on his head elbow resting on his windor sill driving, i was there first. Already turning to go 2nd exit, noticed audi still driving straight on across! I slammed brakes to avoid hitting the idiot!!!

Today, i wish i didnt slam the brakes, and actually hit him! As he would be at fault! At roundabout, GIVE WAY TO RIGHT, i had my right of way, already on roundabout about to exit, signalled, headlight low beam on, he was not concentrating and hand on his face blinding him from the right!

If i hit him. He'll have to cough up and new bumper would be replaced!!! Lol

Heat it up and hopefully it'll come back ok, i didnt notice til now when i took photo for u all to see, lower grille half popped out, just re-clipped them in place now :-)

Hopefully, noticed the paint is rippled so will attempt to smooth it out.

Heating it up is best done behind it as u can burn the paint!

Doing it this weekend after i fitted father in law's towbar.

Intercooler hose replacement,
readjust foglights as it seems a bit loose.
Repair dent on the bumper.
Test earthing point for alternator

Shame about the ice, Audi drivers seem to be the new BMW drivers, got a few idiots around here drive like they own the road. I try to avoid hitting them after my last minor prang with the Omega as you never know what will write a car off these days, and I'd hate to lose the Vec.

you must be gutted. we have been lucky here with snow. but it was -3.5 last night. 15c brrr in my room when i got up lol

Downer hope you get it sorted this weekend some **** rear ended mine and a lot of paint has come off so a respray is needed but my full car needs done so going to leave till i get the full car done.
