Default Rear Interior Lighting - LED 501

Just tried to change the rear interior lights with LED. Managed to change the map reading lights and they all work fine however the rear ones aren't. I have checked the polarity and still nothing, and the bulbs are definitely working.

    Anyone had this issue before?

Yes, do the pins on your LEDs run over both sides? So 2 contacts each side?

If so you need to cut of or tape 1 each side, the aposing ones and its be fine...

This is exactly what fixed mine. Was doing my head in trying to work it out until I asked on here. Looked at them and thought to myself, oh yeah.

Sorted it and they work fine now.

    Hello.
I've read the above comments but i'm not sure if that's the solution to the problem I have.
So I installed and wired rear interior lights. It runs normally with normal bulbs, bur when I change them with LEDs both front and rear light are not working when you open the door or try to switch them on. Any advice?
    Thank you in advance... Martin

Hey, everything is working perfect, but I noticed that all LEDs are glowing even when they are off. It's a very weak glow and hard to notice when it's not completely dark, but they do this all the time, even when the car is locked. It happens on both my cars, Vectra and Astra.
Also when I lock both cars, the LED's that are in the headlights and registration plates keep flashing for a few minutes. Then they stop flashing for a few hours and start flashing again for a few minutes. The headlights are not flashing at the same time, but changing...left-right-left-right...etc...
    Is this normal?
    Thank you.. Martin

All that's normal, the dim glow is just residual current in the circuit, and the flashing is the canbus check system doing it's thing, which oddly enough I've only seen the vectras do, my mk5 astra vxr which is also canbus doesn't do the whole flashing lights thing, still does the fault glow of the courtesy lights tho
