Cost?
I had turbo fitted and get oil smell seems to come from the vac pipe and drip on to exhaust I go no idea where its coming from
Leaking from the turbo input or output is common
only seems to do it when I have been giving it some but I cant see where its coming from
I does not seem to be losing boost 22.9 psi if memory serves correctly using torque pro to read if it was leaking from there would it not loose boost?
Good news, it will be a while until you have burned off the oil. Becareful to allow the engine/oil to warm up before pushing the turbo and always give a a couple of couple of easy miles to wind down at the end of a trip before turning the engine off.
It's neglect that kills turbos just change the oil and filter more frequent with quality oil and all will be well, these 20k services get extended or crap oil and bang the blower fails.
I know all the tips on turbos I've only done 9000 in the car did oil change when I got it and one 4500 miles ago looking at the state of the turbo I think the damage was already there when I bought it the guy who did the refurb that it was possible the previous owner had used some of that sealer crap in the oil before he sold it but ill never know . Took her out before for a 20 mile drive after checking oil and water levels the smoke is defo clearing but still got the smell and slight haze prob take a few weeks to clear. Already noticed it feels more punchy
