Hope you enjoy our little sanctury for C's![]()

Welcome mate.
That's why we did this in the first place. I've nothing against the B's but it was somtimes teadious trawling through the 'I've just done the three pipe mod' threads, and then finding nothing relevant to me.
Thanks fellas! hey AJ how much did your front spoiler cost to get done? I am having mine done next week, costing me £150 to get painted and fitted is that a good price?
yikes!!! thats expensive. MIne was £30 to be painted at my local backstreet paintshop.
Fitting is a 30min DIY job. I've got a how-to somewhere...i'll add it to our how to section.
cheers andy, thought it was a bit too much!! I will try and find some where else to get it painted! this is the first sort of thing I have had done on my car apart from a few bits inside!
I wouldnt be suprised by the cost if it was a main dealer or very well respected bodyshop. Some places like to maintain a high reputation and often charge accordingly.
If the spoiler is brand new and unpainted (apart from the primer it comes in), then its a simple case of sanding it down and painting. Theres no preperation invloved, which is the time consuming part. My local place do things like this inbetween jobs, so it takes a week to do, but costs me peanuts.
Ive added the how-to by the way if you want to have a read and see if your up to it.

welcome cool blue hows the car running know with that ch*p in it

Hi Cool Blue and Welcome, I paid 150 notes to have mine sprayed and fitted, it needed quite a bit of work being Steinmetz though, they are pretty rough when you get them.
