Gee.. I am glad mine are grown up now. You can get a good remap for £460.
But bare in mind if you get the one your wife wants then she is more likely to let you buy what you want for your car.

We have a Jane Slalom...Matrix I think, the Auto Cot is great, lies flat when they're young and they folds up in to a rear ward facing seat.

Pram is big and burly but it'll last for the next couple of wee ones as well.

BTW it's massive but does come apart...that's why I bought the estates.

Not familiar with the one you are looking at Tommy. When we went looking i honestly/naively thought it would be a case of walking in the shop and saying that one over their please, oh how wrong was i

We ended up getting a special edition silver cross which does everything, starts off as a pram then can change into a buggy for when he/she gets bigger...it was around the £500 mark all in

I assume your vec has isofix but mines apparently does not so we went for the maxi cosi cabrio car seat and it is great, also has a superb safety rating..they come with isofix too

    Re: ISOFIX

They're really expensive...plus you can only use them in ISOFOX cars.

We went with a recaro young sport 9 months to 12 years old...one seat fits every car we're tried so far and it matches the VXR interior as well.

    Cheapest here

Cheers, Does the Jane Matrix not come with a child seat anyhow, or is it easier to have a seat seperate in the car. I wanted the recaro job to match the car as well but the missus said the pram was also a car seat ?

The Jane seat/auto cot is only up to 9 months, well the one we have is. After that I had to have a Recaro...in fact we bought 2!! For each car.
