Nexus 7 Real world review

I'm thinking I getting a Nexus 7. I've watched the YouTube reviews and read a few of the tech blogs, just wanted opinions from people who actually own one and use them day-to-day. Figured I'd get more of a real world view. What do you like? What's not so good? and if you could turn the clock back, would you still have bought it? Cheers

I have one, best investment for a 7 inch tab. Going to do a car build for it too :-)

ive bought one im really pleased with it i did a lot of research on the nexus 7

i learnt a lot on youtube

good for watching films

colours are really good

games( some free ) on the nexus 7 are really good graphics

internet is easy to use (you need wi fi access )

google maps

jellybean 4.2 operating system

you can speak into the nexus 7 to find information out

easy to use

i bought a on the go cable which you can plug a memory stick it ie sd card

the kindle fire is bigger to hold in your hand
the apple mini has a better camera than the nexus 7

the nexus 7 only has a facing camera

Had mine since its launch and im about to get another for my daughter.

If I'm out and about I wirelessly tether mine to my xperia for 3g, but you can buy them now which are 3g enabled.

The only downside I find with all these new tablets is the lack of an expandable memory, there all pushing there own cloud products but tbh unless your going to be using it mostly 3g then this won't be a problem.

Keep in mind if your also looking at the kindle them be aware you can't access Google play unless you root your device with the kindle.

I brought one too, loaded all my music to it leave a couple of GB free, then found out that I can load to Google cloud 20gb for doh. Now my view of music has changed from descending view ( 1 album after the other getting smaller in the distance) if that makes sense.
