Default Fuel flap locked shut vectra c facelift

I have a 57 plate vectra exclusiv, went to fill up with fuel and the flap is locked shut. And before anybody says it yes I pressed unlock twice. Anybody able to tell me how to get it open as from what I can tell it has to be open to remove the solenoid? I took the side of the boot off but can't actually see the motor for it I can only put my hand on it by putting my hand in a metal hole.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

    Thanks

How does it clip in? I have removed the drivers side carpet exposing the metal side and there is a hole which I can reach my arm Into but I doubt I could get my head into an angle where I can see what I'm doing

you have to 'feel' you way to it... Theres one little bit which holds it in place. You just gently push it away from the motor as you wiggle the motor free.

oh and check fuse 20 in the fusebox, you'll find its blown, if you replace it it may get your flap motor working again for now
