Strange alarm sound??

Hi all,

It started yesterday for the 1st time.

I start the car and what sounds like an old mobile phone "ding ding ding" sound goes off for about 20 secs, then goes off. It then happens again after switching the car off and removing the keys.

There are no warning lights showing, nothing on the display and appears to be coming from the passenger footwell, but could be wrong.

Any ideas please?

Sounds like the warning light telling you you have left your lights on when you open the drivers door

Door sensor sticking perhaps... whatever is the current equivalent of the old pin switch?
