    Default steering track control arms

    Hi guy, i had the car in to get the free inspection at vauxhall and picked up the radiator leak i have and knew and also said both steering track control arms have a bit of play in them and need replacing..


    are these pricey?, and are they easy to fit?.

    They ain't too dear bout £20 a side bit of a git to fit and you need a huge spanner as well 32 or 36mm spanner can't quite remember

    i tried the spanner thing............................................. ........would have filled a swear box no problem!!!!!! till i got one of these


    20 mins the old one was off & the new 1 on,fiddliest bit was the 'clip' on the large end of the rubber boot/cover

    But you need to counterhold the steering rack when you're doing it, and there is only a flat spot for this on the off side (if I remember correctly), so it really helps to have a helper...
