    Default Modification friendly insurers

I had thought tonight that maybe we could start a list of car insurance companies that don't quiver when you mention a remap or other mods. I've had a few good years with Adrian Flux but thought it would be worth trying some other insurers

So I'll start the list, remember I want companies you've actually dealt with.

    1. Adrian Flux - no charges for adding mods and no premium increase for cosmetic mods. Uk call centres

    1. Adrian Flux - no charges for adding mods and no premium increase for cosmetic mods. Uk call centres

    2. Greenlight - Uk call centre, they didnt charge me for adding mods, change of address etc. (Need to have held driving lisence for 1 year min)

Greenlight has been the cheapest for me 2 years in a row, for example

Swiftcover year 1with vec (no mods- standard) 4 years ncb age 26 was £1036
Greenlight year 2 (mods declared) 5 years ncb age 27 was £525 with protected no claims
This years renewal with greenlight with 6 years ncb age 28 has just dropped in my email inbox at £494 with protected no claims.

Adrian Flux are very good. Chris Knott will not even quote for any car in high-risk areas (especially Northern city areas like Liverpool).

Admiral have no issues with all the mods on my car. Small additional charges for most of them, but no question about insuring it.
