Auto Gearbox - Can you prevent Water Contamination?

Hi

Can you prevent water contamination getting into the Auto gearbox? Can you change the seals before they perish?

I see a previous post mentions they re-designed the radiator so water contamination is not possible is this correct and if so from what year did this take place?

I agree! An aftermarket cooler gives you 100% peace of mind, and much more efficient cooling of the ATF, which should make the box last the lifetime of the car (as long as you change the fluid every 3 years or so)
