In a word, yes.
yes I sprayed mine on the elite to make them look more like the sri
good stuff cheers
the reason tinted rear lights get you hassle from the police is they actually have reflectors on them so when a car behind you has its lights on it reflects off the reflectors in the lights
obviously too dark and you wont be able to see your brake lights, i once got stopped by the police in my corsa years ago because i tinted my rear lights the same colour as the car
they said the light coming through was fine but the reflectors didnt work, they said if i stuck a reflector badge on the rear it would be fine
I bought a tinting kit back in '92 for my black 2.0S Capri and it came with 2 rectangular reflectors for exactly that reason.
I've just bought a tin of VHT Nite-Shades to do my rear & side lights in spring, I'll be masking off the bottom clear reverse section (as it matches the silver boot strip) and a line or 2 of the reflector, just for a hint of red and to keep it legal, the rest will be as black as the car.
yeah swedge im leaving the red bits alone and gonna do the clear at the top and bottom cheers for the info guys
