    Default CV joint gone

well I have a clicking from what sounds like both sides when turning slow and vibration when accelarating on near side.
so inner and outer gone on maybe both sides?
I was driving home yesterday and hit a big pot hole. Now when I am say parking, turning at low speed and put full lock on it sounds like there is a grinding from the near side.
When I try to turn say 90 degre the steering feels like it comes and goes but i get no light. Is this all to do with the CV joint or has something else been knocked to death?
What actually happens when the CV joint is done for?
I can still drive but is it safe?

Tried them and they only have the outer CV. Not sure if that is because they were looking for Signum parts.
Had the side up on jack and no play in wheel when I sideways force. Can't tell for play in driveshaft. When I turn the wheel forward I hear a click so 1 CV defiantly gone but I don't think it explains the steering. It's like intermittent but not due to electrics otherwise I would have the light yes??

Yep I know what you are saying but I've read reviews on various forums about this company and they are generally very positive. Also at that price and with a 2 year warranty then I can't see a reason not to go for them tbh

Well I dont think this is CV related as it feels like I have no power steering.
It's weird though as when I turn the wheel like i'm driving a 1980's car it feels like the near side is not turning. Going round a roundabout and as you go in driving left it's difficult to turn it right and when you are half way round it feels like nearside goes very light as though just sliding.
I'm baffled now as I am getting quotes sorted for CV joint and I don't think thats related to steering.
Also steering wheel is 30 degree to left and feels like bumping when driving straight.
    Fu***ng car
