    Default New key, Dealer or DIY, see inside

    Hi,

    Needed a key for my 2008 Vectra, as I only had one, so priced up one for dealer = £122

    so thought ******** to that, so this is how I did it

    Second hand key from the bay £6.65 (inc postage)

    Sent key to Keyfobbank for new transponder chip + new case + new cut blade = £27

    Postage to Keyfobbank £1.85

    Programmed myself (with software we cant mention) already owned = £0

    Total = £35.5

    Result


    even if you had to factor in the cost of software ( if you didnt have it) total would be £55.5

    which is a hell of a lot cheaper than going to the stealers.

    I did mine when I had a Vectra B. Saved a fortune plus I had the software for use later as well.

    Got mine from here, I believe he also sells the transponder chip on its own
