Was getting sick of not seeing in the we cubbyhole under the light switch so put a led strip in it.

They were only fitted to 2002-2003 vecs, but are easily retrofitted.

I just fitted one on my 2004 Gsi. Couldn't resist a little pocket for small change and the USB adapter and a light is a great idea

It only comes on with the interior lights ive hooked it upto my foot well lights as i was changing them today for brighter ones so i snipped the old ones and used them. and its a must do i have really bright interior lights in my car and that part of the car is still really dark when there on and did my head in if i had to go in there for some change when needed.

I will be going out in the car soon so will get a pic of it while it is dark.

Retro fitted the cubby hole a few months back I think I'll add a light too, as you say it's a black hole when you need to find stuff!

never even knew their could be a cubby there... used to have storage there on my old civic and i miss it so...
