Default No heat, clicking noise, mixed air valve servo motor

Ok people, think this is the first time I've posted here however I have been a member for a little while.

    I have a Vectra C 2004 (54)

To give you a bit of background on this issue... My problem is I have no heat coming from my air vents. When I move the heating control to the coldest it makes a clicking noise for the first 4 seconds and stops. When I move the control to the hottest setting nothing happens. The clicking noise is coming from the passenger side footwell where the glove compartment is.

Now that that's out the way this is what I have done.
I have removed the glove box and when moving the heating control to cold I believe I can see the arm on the mixed air valve attempting to move. On removing a piece of plastic I can see the motor connected to that which appears to be attempting to move the arm (which I assume control the heating for the car).

I have no previous experience with messing around with cars so atm I'm balls deep, but I assume if I remove the mixed air valve servo motor I can just get a replacement motor from e-bay and voilá however there are two screws holding the motor in place which I can only get to one of them. The other It's actually impossible to reach without removing what I believe to be the passengers side footwell air duct?

I have removed the only screw I can see as per my Haynes manual (3.11 - 9.10a/b) however there is no budging it.

    Any ideas?

Is it definitely the motor after all this which is not working or could it be something else like a fuse?

    Thanks in advance!

The clicking noise is caused by a tooth breaking on the cog inside the motor assembly, very common both on the heat mixer and on the air recirculation motor. Whilst I've seen one person fix it by making a new tooth out of a piece of toothbrush and expoxying it into place, basically the answer is yes, you need to replace the motor assembly.

Ok cool that's fine if it can't be repaired, just didn't want to spend all this time removed the motor if that's not even the issue.

Any advice on removing the motor or I assume this air duct which is in the way? :/

    Cheers.

Ok so further from this I have removed the fuse and the motor doesn't attempt to move so I'm 99% sure its just the motor that needs replacing (no fuses or anything like that).
I have also disconnected the red arm which goes from the motor into some white thing and I am able to move the air valve manually, the motor still does not turn and still make the clicking noise which rules out anything blocking the arm from inside. (This was suggested by a friend).

So I really just need to know If I need to be abit more forceful when trying to remove the footwell air duct after removing the one screw Haynes said to remove (Although the same friend said do not always take the Haynes manual as a Bible).

    UPDATE:
Ok I have the air duct off with the help of my father... I obviously wasn't providing enough force with my baby soft hands. Mixed air valve servo motor removed and will seek a new one on e-bay... Will keep this post updated. Thanks for reading I guess

Can be either of the servos. Mine does it on the air recirc one, but it's still working at the moment so I haven't bothered replacing it yet. Easy way to tell, turn off radio so you can hear and adjust the temperature max cold to max hot and back, hear it click either way? then it's that one, press the air recirc button on, wait for it to open/close, then press it again and wait til it's finished, hear it click either way? then it's that one.

I have a similar problem when I move the vent selector switch from windscreen to face/feet, for example. Makes a clicking noise, and same again when I adjust it again.
However, yesterday, I was coming back from work, and had no heat coming out (first time it's done that), even though it was turned to max. When I got home, I undid the water reservoir cap, until the pressure was released, and straight away, heat came out of the vents. Must've been a pressure blockage.
