Another DT UK tuning box thread..

Just been out in the dark & fitted my DT UK green box courtesy of a member on here, plugged it in & the car starts and runs fine, no lights on the dash, but it seems no different?

It says it's on setting 7 (or F?!)

Have I done something wrong?

I know my swirl flaps are gone at the mo & its going back to have a new manifold on the 10th, but would this really stop the box making a difference?!

I was hoping that'd be the answer.

The swirl valve arm isnt attached atall currently, so it's awaiting a brand new manifold.

I was just expecting to notice some difference I guess!

I'll take it off again & wait til the new manifold is on then.

Turned it up & if I accelerate hard the spanner light comes on... needless to say its turned down a bit more now, Its too dark to read but the dial is at 12 o'clock. Yet to test it but will update in due course.

I think il take it off until the new manifold is fitted just to be on the safe side.

Thats how they say to set them.

Turn it up till the spanner light comes on then back it off 1.
