    Default scuttle panel drian plug

With winter weather fast approaching now I've been out and removed the scuttle panel plug to stop any problems. If I never put it back in will this cause any hassles in the long run? I think it should stop a build up of gunk in the future and save any hassle. Has anyone else removed and never put it back?

I removed mine a long time ago bud. I'm not even sure if it went in the spares box, think it went straight in the bin.

Sounding good mate, and no more problems for you then? Totally bad design by VX tbh. I also poked an old fish net down the one at driver's side to clear the one sitting at the support for the wiper linkage too. It seemd pretty stuffed before it got cleared. But as yet not water ingress since having it for 4.5 years.

I've kept the rubbers in, but cut all the bottom cone off so there's only a 1cm or so pointing down, nice and wide now...

I would like to know this....I was under the impression there was only one beside the pollen filter. (I've just chopped the bottom 1" or so off it so the gap at the bottom is wider)

I take it, it is the hole that sits between the support bracket for the linkage?
