Default Snow foam and first results

Well I finally got the chance to trial the new lance with some ValetPro Neutral PH snow foam.

The car has done about 650 miles since the last wash was filthy with dried salt and general muck brake dust the usual in other words.

I made up a 15:1 ratio and gave both cars a wash. I didn't pre-rinse the car I just foamed it to try it out and left it on for about 5 minutes then rinsed and was stunned how much it removed.

The suds are not brilliant and rolled off the car by the time I rinsed it, I played about with volume and the nozzle spread but quickly got into a good system, spray a section bottom to top then roof going round the car.

I used about 600ml of the litre solution, and gave both cars two complete wash and rinses.

I plan to try no-touch from carwashandwax next and see how that does. If I use the same amount per wash it will cost about 4.5p per wash using foam.

Overall, if anyone is swithering, I would say go for it the results are so fast and so easy when it's below freezing, that it made the job so much faster!

Just got back in from giving my car its first snowfoam.... How impressed am I? VERY! First time i have used a personal pressure washer to clean my car... And the Nilfisk has worked out to be just the job. Highly recommended on many car forums, so it was hard to go wrong there. And likewise with the Autobrite HD Lance.

Car was pretty manky before i started (should have taken pictures). So, give it a rinse down with the hose. Then with the PW and snowfoam (about 2" in the bottom of the bottle the rest water) started to see what it was all about... Well the pictures say it all! Nice thick foam all over and very easy to adjust the lance to get a good spray. The one bottle of magifoam was more than enough to cover the car from top to bottom. Then left it for about 10 mins to do its job.

After rinsing it off, ALL the crud, muck and grime on the car was gone completely. Couldn't recommend it enough and wished i had pulled my finger out a few years back to wash my car in this way.
