Z18XER (1.8VVT) Cam Solenoids

Anyone know where I can get these cheaper from... Stealers have them but at £££

Vauxworld Parts my usual haunt for stuff, doesn't list them, and EBAY ones are questionable quality I'm led to believe.

Any thoughts guys, as mine are giving up.

Got mine from Ebay, no problems, infact one of them was a used one!!

Pop the filters out of them first before buying new ones.

I think if like mine the tick tick tick tick from a cold start is a sign. I know they do it as standard being a vvt but mine is a lot louder now than it ever used to be. Mind you im getting very close to 100k

Take the filters out first, I did a how 2. Normally you get the EML and fault codes when they fail and the car goes into limp mode.

I did the filter out on both solenoids seemed to cure on initial start up after filter removal but then back to normal now in the morning ,rattles for 3 secs on cold start up.

Recent oil change VX oil and filter...70,000 on clock.

No fault lights or poor running.
