Vehicle : Insignia VX-line RED Tourer

    Trim : No, over weight!

    Engine : Flux Core Capacitor

    Year : 1 A.D

    Mileage : Rising

Default Car full of junk !

Just been clearing things out of the car ready for my new one and didn't realise how much "junk" i've been carrying around in it these past few years !

Here are some of the things i've taken out ....

    Glove box

    Baby wipes
    4 ball point pens
    MP3 player
    2 torches
    A 4 way 12v aux power socket
    Trax 2009 ticket stub
    PVS 2011 club stand pass
Various car park tickets (UK & France).
Manchester Airport hotel booking paperwork (from 2010).
    ipod USB lead
    Loose change (23p)
    2 pairs of Sun glasses
    2 MacDonalds straws
    CD's

    Boot

    Tow rope
    12v tyre inflator
    1st aid kit
    3 hi-viz vests
    bulb kit
    hazard triangle
    breatherliser kit
    black bin bag ???
    7 microfibre cloths
    2 allen keys
St. georges cross flag (out of the Sun newspaper)
    Spool of 15lb fishing line
    pair of welding gauntlets
    pack of Dunlop badges
    stainless steel multi-tool
    Maglite
    some plastic valve caps
    baseball cap (vec c)
    Umbrella
    an orange Opal fruit (starburst)
    Carpenters pencil ???
    nail brush

So, question is what do you carry in the car that you don't really need to have in there 24/7 ?

Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !

    In mine nothing!

You need injections and protective gear to go in the missus A2, she says its my job to keep up to ALL the cars!!

Funny she goes mental when I say the same about ironing and washing up

I'd have said they were all useful and needed

I had one of my paintball marker pistols in the side compartment in the boot for a few month as I forgot it was there! Luckily I eventually remembered as a stop by armed response wouldn't look too clever if they went in there and found a meaty looking pistol

I can't remember it all, to be honest. But for starters... Glove box... Wind-up torch, iPhone charger, couple of biros, two pairs of 3D glasses, one pair childrens' sunglasses, 1 pack of baby wipes (nephews and nieces are sometimes passengers)... Boot... Two spare bulb kits, at least three hi-viz vests, possibly four, 12-volt tyre inflator, warm coat and scarf, two large pieces of carpet (traction in snow and general muck catchers), empty petrol can, travel cushion (U-shaped), Haynes manual, coolant, tap water, deicer spray, rubber drying blade, Demon Shine QD, at least two microfibre cloths, taar remover, emergency triangle, spare HID bulb, two picnic blankets, towing eye (but no rope!)... What a load of old junk! Paul

Without looking, I have all the usual car charger leads in centre console, (satnav, dvr, my phone and Wendy's phone).
Glove box I have babywipes (also handy for cleaning bird crap off while out and about) torch, tyre pressure and depth gauges, my spare asthma inhaler and a small bottle of squash to take medication with while I'm out.
Boot, first aid kit and triangle passenger side, other side Torx screwdriver and bits to fit most car sizes, locking wheel nuts key and a tyre inflator.
Under the front seat is my cd wallet, got about 20 in there, too big to fit elsewhere - and an old fashioned but up to date map in drivers seat rear pocket

Frustrating the veccy doesn't play Mp3 without swapping out the head, then it'd be one disc full

Nothing inside, the glove box, centre console, door pockets etc are empty - so nothing can rattle.

The boot just has a boot-tidy with all sorts of tools, spare bulbs, felt pads etc...... less is more
