    Default Difficult starting

    Hi, 2ltr DTI 52 plate..

Seems difficult to start on a morning, and get a puff of smoke from the back, it then chugs roughly for about 5 secs then idles normally, after been run for say 5 mins it will restart fine and will do until left for say 3-4 hours and will be difficult to start again..

Had the glow plugs checked and all seem ok, checked for air leaks and all ok..

Does not smoke at all when driving, just that large puff of smoke after difficult starting....

also noticed that the heater plug light does not always come on when i go to start the car ( is this normal ) sometimes its on sometimes not..

EDit: It's the wifes car and she always run it right down on fuel, usually only ever 150 files left after £10 top up.. then she runsit down to say 50 miles left then fills up with another £10, could it be that fuel is running back down fuel lines??????
