Default Would you recommend Vectra C to your best friend

This is really what it all gets down to:

"Would you recommend a Vectra C for your best friend?".

OK. He gets a "luxurious" car - that used cost far less than many of the competitors.

But, he would have to buy 2 complete front and rear suspension kits when purchasing the car.

What if he cannot repair anything himself.

So the smaller price gets eaten up by repair and maintenance costs?

Why 2 complete front and rear suspension kits? He would need to buy 4 springs at £150 at some point (as you seem to with most cars now a days). I would and do recommend them

Why not buy one without suspension issues?! What's to say the competitor cars are not suffering equally expensive repair costs?
Vec C is a reasonably priced car and has no more faults than any other. in many instances cheaper to repair than competitor cars also.

really can't understand the point of this post and why 'he' is buying a car with known suspension faults?!...

    'Bit of a dig' post.

I would and have recommended them to friends, they still drive around in them now and are very happy with them.

Its all about knowing what to look for (like any car TBH) - if you don't and buy a shed, you've no-one to blame other than yourself.

Have driven Vx's from the first Cavalier upto the VecC and the only fault that I would give my car is that she begs me to drive her and give her a bit of stick every day
Great motors, but a shame that Vx seem to cut back on the "toys" year on year.
Would definitely recommend them to a mate as long as said previously, that someone who understands the series takes a long hard look at what's on offer before handing over your cash

Nah, I detect bitterness... sounds like someone has snapped springs!

It's not pleasant, but build a bridge.... it happens.
