Default Some thieving Bar Steward had a go at my 19`s !!

Giving the car a clean today I noticed that the back passengers wheel has some marks around the locking nut and the others, some thieving ned must have decided to have a go !!

Thievin' scum - stupid as well!! Do they honestly think someone is going to have a set of big alloys on their cars and not have locking nuts on them!!!

Hope the marks/damage isn't too bad.

Yeah, but the problem is that in our mad, mad world it's you that gets prosecuted for 'injuring' someone who comes onto your property to try and steal your possessions and shouldn't have been there in the first place. Past cases have shown this. Barking mad I know!

Bloke in Liverpool several years ago had his car broken into four times in a month, so he, being an electrician, somehow wired the car up. He was arrested for attempted murder and eventually charged with a section 18 assault. Mind you, his car was OK after that.

Well... I know I’m not legally allowed to "electrify" my garden shed in order to protect it... but I also know its not going to injure anyone, just deter them.

I have a setup that can produce up to 40,000 volts, but it wont actually harm anyone, as its doesn’t produce enough current to actually do any harm. The 240v in you house is much more likely to kill you!
it will give you a belt' if you come within 40mm of the door handle, and trust me you wont try again.... plus I cant see a thief, going to the cop shop, saying "I was just about to nick all his tools and I got a shock off the door handle"… he’s more likely to tell his m8s to keep clear.

I’m glad MLC is in the traffic dept

    Anyway… straying off topic here
So what can people do to protect there alloys? Alarm tilt sensors or microwave sensors… I think a tilt sensor might me a good “second” option I fitted one to my ST170’s existing alarm before, and it worked a treat for around £50.
