    Default air bag deployment

hi i just bought a vectra cdti sri 150 on friday but unfortunately have found a few problems it's a 2004 54 with 85000 miles after getting it home found the roof cloth to be damaged on the passenger side upon inspection found that both side airbags had been deployed along with the front passenger seat airbag but have been cut out of the car and everything place back neatly me and a friend have looked over the car and can't find any signs of damage or repair to the body work the only thing we can find is damage to the n/s/r wheel and different camber from the other side has anyone ever heard of damage caused to the rear wheel and axle deploying the airbags.

hpi came back clear as did a dvla check and there was no mention of a repair in the add as i said we can't find any filler on the body no over spray all the spot welds look factory the bolts holding on the doors dont have any marks on them i.e. paint cracking so the doors don't look like they've been off neither has the front wing were finding this very strange that we can't find any panel damage (and were both panel beaters spray painters to trade) and the airbag light on the dash goes out

yep thats what we've been thinking but how much tampering would you have to do to make the warning light on the dash go out after the initial 4 second after ignition is switched on also would a thump on the rear enough to damage the wheel and put the camber out set the side airbags off

There is a sensor on the B pillar by the seatbelt mounting so it could have been set of by that.

I hit a kurb when I slid slightly sideways on some gravel. When I hit the kurb the side curtain airbag and seat bag went off. No damage to the body work. Just referb of alloy, new tyre and alignment check
