Default Spidertuning box for 2.2 DTi

    Hello chaps,
I was just wondering if anybody had installed one of these and what the real world results were...? I'm thinking about one for my '04 SRi
What's involved as far as the installation of it?
    Cheers,
    IanM

ian I think it only works on the commom rail system (spider box) and only on
    1.9 cdti (120-150 )
    3.0 cdti (177-184 )
I dont know of any one with a box on 2.2dti
but i had a remap on my old vec B sri 2.2dti which took it to 150bhp
matt smith got his old 2.2dti up to 152bhp I think

    Ian,
Thanks for your reply, who would you recommend for the remapping job?

The 2.2DTi can be mapped and responds well

Some rolling road as standard to around 140bhp!

Remap between 150-165bhp on the Vectra C. I did one 2 weeks ago and the increase was from 132bhp to 158bhp after the remap. Most importantly the car was much more torquey and much more driveable. If doing a before and after test I would advise it is done on the same rolling road and on the same day.

Down your way I would recommend either Angel Tuning speak to Nigel http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/

They are in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire but travel in the costs etc. Very good. If you can afford it get the cold air intake for maximum gains. Thats what I found when I have mapped these....
