    Default DIY help...

I have a bathroom with no shower in it (I have an en suite also). I need to put a shower in, but the current tiles only go about 18" up above the bath. It would be very difficult for me to get the same tiles to match and I definitely don't want to rip all of them down.

I had a thought a week ago, wondered whether this would work or not....

Could I get a sheet of aluminium or stainless stell, cut to the right size, and just stick that up to stop water splashin gon to the painted plasterboard wall?

This would be a very quick and simple solution so am hoping it would work

As said, bond some shower walling to the existing tiles and pack off the missing ones above so they sit even. I'm re-doing my bathroom and will be using these panels, B&Q do them in various finishes, tongue and groove together. A pack costs £39 and you get 2400 x 250 x 10mm 4 off. Sad I know but I have a post-it on my desk, swmbo has this job on her list!
