I'll be leaving car on the drive and road bike in the shed and putting on my walking boots to get to work then. Then sit on my ass doing nothing as all the mercedes drives won't be able to move an inch off there drives and if they do I'll see the car the next day for new lower arms and subframe lol. Standard snowy winter for me at work again lol

If it snows as bad as they expect I'm not intending on going to work, the last time we had snow the only car we had turn up was a smart roadster and it took me 30 mins to dig my car out so I could go home.
I think I'll just stock up on food and drink so I haven't got to even attempt leaving the house

    That's normal.

It has been announced more than 30 years ago (as much as I remember, actually. My father is an archeologist. Or was, as he's retired, now).

Yes, global temperature went higher these last years. The reason is the conjunction of a short-duration temperature cycle with a long-duration one, but the long-duration cycle is now going on its descending slope, and the ice age that's been anticipated is just going to come, whatever lies the politicians and the GIEC are still saying about the CO2.

It's just a mean to steal money out of citizens' pockets by scaring them, and not bothering to care about real pollution problems. Industries have money and lawyers to avoid being bothered for their pollutant emissions, but you don't. So unless the governments are told by people to stop lying, stop being bribed by lobbies and get to work, you'll end up being taxed because you're rejecting CO2 while breathing... Oh, and don't you fart, you criminal !

Remember the Middle Age was a very warm era (around 1200 AD). People were growing wheat in Greenland (did you ever wonder why it was called like that ?) and vine in Scotland. They had to abandon Greenland when the inlandsis pushed them to the sea, when the climate went colder... But whatever liers are saying, not only we never had such a warm climate as during the Middle Age, but it's about to finish. Prepare to be really cold, now, for a very long time (should be for several centuries). And trying to reverse that by emitting CO2 is just as plain stupid as blaming it for the temporary global warming we just had : it will be just as meaningless.

And all of this can be seen by looking down a hole......Impressive.

On a more serious note where do worms go in the winter......Do they dig down deep to escape the hard frosted surface or even deeper to retreat from the per-ma frost of really severe conditions as predicted. I suppose if they go deep enough they will reach a temporal zone where the temperature will remain stable all year around due to the warming effects of the circulation of the magma flowing beneath the earths mantel. A sort of worm utopia if you will. Anyhow I digress I hope its a good heavy prolonged cold spell with lots of snowfall and really cold sub zero temperatures. There's nothing like a -5 and a 2" snowfall to cripple Britain. I dunno how we are going to cope "again"...........
