    Default single din fascia??

i have a 55 plate pre-facelift vectra c and have been looking for a single din fascia, however there are quite a few different ones and i had one for my old 53 plate vectra c and tried that but it didnt fit

i was looking for the best possible fit and closest colour to the interior trim

has anyone had any luck with certain ones which are a good fit and also match the colour the closest

    thanks in advance

I didn't think there was any difference in the fascia adaptors between facelift and prefacelift, but as you say both of yours are preface? You got any pics of the fascia adaptor and the wholy you're left with when you remove your stereo? have you also removed the cage for your original radio?

    Thanks for the reply

Umm the connection is different and the fascia goes in but does not fit very well, theres gaps at the bottom and on the side and the colour was a shade different

so was wodering if anyone has had any success with a certain fascia adaptor as i dont want to make a mistake of ordering one and findin out its pretty much the same

Well there are different coloured fascias, you need the right one to match the car it is going in. Did it fit ok in your previous car? I've got fascia adaptors for all kinds of places in the past but the ones Halford's stock are decent quality, you'll find them cheaper elsewhere but the quality will be good from there and they should fit ok. I know this sounds daft but have you got it the right way up with the extra cubby hole under the hole for the cage? Some pics would be handy.

Lol yeh its the right way round, yeh iv seen the black, silver and anthracite, iv had the silver/anthracite but wanted to see if there was closer matches i.e connects2 and autoleads would have maybe a different shaded cololour and different fit

It didnt fit that well in the old carbut was doable, this time round its slightly more out and wanted to
see if i could get one that is a better fit, so was looking for suggestions, have you got any links to any good ones which you have purchased? My interior colour is a grey/anthracite/gunmetalish type, the cars a 55 plate sri pre-face full canbus if that helps

Halfrauds may be the only option as i can return it straight away but dont really buy from
there as much.. May need to try some audio shops in the area but would rather take opinions from vectra owners

I think it's autoleads that halfords sell and I've always found them good?

The connects2 fascias fit much better than the autoleads and they are a closer colour match, they are readily available on eBay
