Default Buying a fake watch anyone done it?

I want a patek philippe nautilus but sadly cant afford one unless bought a older used one but that would then mean no chance of getting on the property ladder so been thinking about buying a fake one the internet but unsure if it would turn up. Has anybody bought a fake watch off any of the places on the net?

Basically you get what you pay for. I work in the jewellery trade and in high end watches. They are some really good fakes around and some really bad. If you can only afford a fake I would say you need to see it first otherwise you may be disappointed.

The websites that display these fakes are very good in showing them, more often then not they are of poor quality.

Never got the fascination of 3k+ watches, one of my mates has a silly collection...

Ive been given a fake Rolex and brietling however you spell it by people in the past, the Rolex was good, the brietling looked nice but has never properly worked... It's like a Jag XF on the outside, 900c fiat underneith!

I've bought a couple of cheap replicas on the past but as stated most were poo, on the other hand a good mate of mine buys his from somewhere online and his fake Rolex is very nice and has never had any problems with it I've also got a couple if friends with £3k+ genuine tag and breitling watches and both have been returned to the manafacturer for repairs, the tag took 3 months to come back.
at the end of the day it's all down to choice, if you want designer stuff but can't afford it then you buy the replica. Otherwise buy something within budget, there are literally thousands of watches out there and plenty of them look very good and work well they just don't cost the earth

I have bought many "replica" watches over the years as I love wrist watches, I have a Jaeger le coultre reverso that keeps better time than the Vectra's RDS clock that cost me £30 from China and has fooled four jewellers each battery change, Rolex Yachtmaster, Breitling Bentley motors, Omega Constellation, all of them are excellent time keepers and of high quality it all comes down to where you get them, I have no recent places as I last had spare chas in 2009 for a watch so lost touch with all my tinterweb secret shopping places sadly.

I would say if you pay via paypal it will be generally OK as they will protect you.

I have a very good, tried and tested contact in the watch market.

If you would like me to get you a price for a watch - let me know via PM and I will.. Not the cheapest replica's by any means - but not over the top and you get the quality you pay for. Very important when looking at replicas to have a tried and trusted source as most of the stuff out there is utter crap!

I bought 2 fakes in Turkey a few months ago, still going strong. They are Hublot, and U-Boat copies, both automatic, and i paid £70 for both.

If you're worried about them failing, then don't buy one, you'll only be disappointed. I took a punt and they are still working, but the same can't be said for any fakes out there. Who knows, i might have tempted fate there and they'll stop working lol

Bought a couple of Tag Heures for £10 a piece off Black Johnny on Gran Canaria a few years ago, best watches I ever had.
