    Default Temperature gauge

Last night I thought I could smell burning?
Today I noticed the temp gauge is not working.
    Any suggestions please.
    Cheers

    Stuck thermo?
    Blocked radiator?
    Failed water pump?

The temp gauge not working would point to the thermo sticking open. But the smell of burning could point to other issues.

Remove the cap from the coolant tank with the engine running (slowly, careful not to burn yourself), and see if you can see coolant returning to the tank (water pump)

Feel all hoses with the engine at full temp. They should all be hot. If not, blockage somewhere.

    What stereo you got?

With some of them you can go into the secret menu and get a separate engine temperature reading.

eg with a CD70 press and hold the setting button until you hear a bong. Then press the BC button something like 5 times.
