Have to agree on the michelins mate I have them on mine and they are **** , understeers badly and loses traction in the wet at 50mph in 3rd gear

the car came with good years on as new and they were soo much better than the michelins(better grip and less understeer)
Now we are no longer inchcape for anything , unipart remoulds i expect next !!!!

I have made it my mission to destroy the michelins as quickly as poss , passenger side one is on 5 mm after 6k , got to even out my wheelspins .....

i do like the smell of burning rubber in the morning ......

If you're doing a massive type of tread change I would recommend a 4 tyre change....

aren't they race tires, meant to be **** in the wet?

T1-R's - road going version - dogs nuts they are.

Semi slicks. Basically JUST road legal. Fantastic in the dry!

T1Rs I run for the last 10000 miles. Fantastic tyres. I got a spare set of T8 wheels in the garage with R888s on like Nut for the summer.

The 888s are very good in the dry, or at least when there isn't fresh rain fall on the road. They are better in the wet than the Goodyear Eagle F1 but they still don't hold off the wheel spin in first and second. I'm not talking about droping the clutch at high revs either; just going along in first or second then flooring it, they will spin but alot less than F1s did.

All in all, I recon the 888s would be increadable in the summer (though I doubt they will last long) but in the winter they are just damn good. Whether they are £60 each better than the T1-R will depend on how long they last...
