Go for it, Despite the slagging off they get on here. They are a world apart from the Vectra (not that the Vec is a bad car). They are very different cars.

I am a new owner, and so far my experience has been great. Really enjoying it. The only thing i would say, is make sure you get the exact spec you want. Adding stuff to and Insignia appears to be alot more difficult than the likes of Vectra's and Signums.

Probably the reason i went for the elite, pretty much everything on it already!!

Enjoy the experience mate, and i am pretty sure you will come away with a smile on your face!!

Oh, and make sure you get a NAV model, and where possible the Navi 600 infotainment. You will regret getting an Insignia without Nav (even if its just the CD500 model)

I have had a 130BHP CDTI SRI for 2 years and am happy with it, despite needing 3 sets of rear discs in that time, all under the lifetime warranty.

I would have perhaps preferred the 160, but it was a financial deceision at the time. These are very modern inside and look good outside too.

    I would go for it.
