    Default Timing Belt Replacement

Hi folks been registered a while but been without a vauxhall for some time. Been offered a vectra c at a good price 1.9 cdti with 120k but wanting the timing belt done full kit ideally including water pump.

Evans Halshaw at Blaydon want 300+ to do it not including water pump anyone help me out with someone quality to give a price with plan to do it if fingers crossed everything goes ok and I get it. During working hours Monday to Friday I'm based in winlaton so that areas best but I live north end of Durham so anything around there would help to

    cheers in advance folks

Vauxhall Masterfit will do the belt and kit for £249 - and usually just charge the price of the pump to the bill if you want that doing (and you do) - I do them myself now it really is easy - Masterfit - http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/owners_ser...e-repairs.html

I did one on the CDTI 150 for a friend in around 2 hours including the water pump. Relatively easy to do DIY. and parts are relatively cheap

Drop me a PM if you get it

Yeah - 249 for that engine size at my masterfit centre in rugby. Which to be fair I think is a decent price.

I bought the belt kit and waterpump for mine, £108. Just gotta find someone to do it or be brave and do it myself.

I was the same but bit the bullet and did it myself its quite easy really just make sure you use plenty of marks on pulleys and double check the engine turns freely before trying to start it
