    Default Sri Mudflaps

    Hi all,

I have come across some mudflaps on ebay:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1407224803...84.m1423.l2649

However they are listed as for hatch/estate using the part number that has previously been posted here as for Sri facelift models.

However on asking the seller he says they wont fit my car, is he right?

The 91158529 is what the ebay seller lists the mudflaps as, but he says they are for the facelift and wont fit.

Guess im gonna have to go with someone that is trustworthy on ebay.

Only thing I can suggest is put mudflap in the search box and about 6 threads down there's one titled which mudflaps should tell you everything you need to know

When i bought my SRi facelift 58plate, i asked the dealer if they had any mudflaps for the facelift, the parts guy said that they did not make them for the facelift ever, and he advised that the facelift veccy would look awful with any mudflaps on-have asked the same question with another dealer and he agreed with the first dealer-so i will do without!!!-----Dave

Suppose its all down to personal choice Dave,I agree with you up to a point they do look a bit naff until you colour code them then they take on a whole new look I love mine, and I've fixed conventional flaps to the moulded ones for the winter for added protection

This. Don't waste your time looking for anything else. Yes they are pre-facelift, but they ARE what you need for the facelift SRi (hatch) Don't always assume the dealers know what they are talking about!

Think this needs to be made a Sticky, same question has been asked loads lately!
