driver's side window dropped

this is a weird one but is there anything that would cause the driver's side window to open on it's own?

neighbour knocked the door at 7.30 this morning to point out my window was open and the alarm was going off.

i am 99% certain it was shut last night when i parked it.

all fine this morning with the car apart from the damp backside!

probably should have mentioned that.

yes it went back up when missus went out. very odd
