facelift autos have them as well as estates

Answer = tech2 or opcom (dont ask about opcom as we're not allowed to discuss it, but its laptop software, google for more answers )
Plasma's Tech2 services are now partially open and able to provide services

I'm one in the mine. The DPF information works fine.

You can contact directly with the "inventor" of this gadget.

    http://www.pepas.cz/kontakt/

The module cost around 130 EUR.

I asked a similar question recently and ended up googling a bit - what I found is that the DPF fills at a rate of approx 1% for every 10 miles - it apparently regens at 100% - so it wil regen every 800-1000 miles (more often if lots of city driving) - the said diagnostic software will allow you to keep an eye on it! A dealer can do a forced regen for about £60 - but eventually the DPF will clap out and cost £1000+ for a new one. Only way to avoid this it seems is to do regular long trips/motorway journeys. On facelift cars there seems to be no way of knowing when a regen is or has taken place other than watching fuel consumption which drops dramatically when the process is occuring. I've had my auto about 2.5k and have never noticed a regen happen - I should have had at least 2. I am looking at buying the Software tool - but obviously you need a laptop too! It's a worry especially as I brought the Auto to avoid the dreaded DMF problems - never even knew it had a DPF until I cam on here!
