3.2 v6 exhaust tuning....

Hi all, i have a full system been in few years now, de-cat with sports middle n back boxes, sounds nice but would like it abit better to pop and spit flames :P is there a way to do this like removeing the sports middle box?

Hi Ben.... unfortunatly... what you're after can't be done easily...without causing issues...(this is totally off top of head so feel free to correct ppl )back in the days of carbs, popping on engine breaking/over run was normal but nowdays when doing same fuel is cut... as for the flaming... you either need need huge bhp and top end rpm is rich(to keep egt low) but will still ignite fumes....or..poxy 'zorst flamer kit' where you need fueling a lil rich anyways... I've a 3.2 that hasbeen in various states of tune and..yeah..a lil popping when engine braking in 2nd.. but never any flames... to be honest.. if you're after flames n' pops... maybe a fiesta/nova 1.2 with a bigbore 4/cherry bomb would suit your needs.... sorry if a bit funny but the 3.2 deserves more than chavvy mods.... rather than pops n flames..treat it to torque n bhp

I'm sure i read somewhere there is an option to turn fuel cut off in the "secret menu" but i dont think its on half canbus cars. I may be wrong. I had a straight through pipe and did pop, alot, no flames of course. But flames and popping generally come from big power, spoons vec springs to mind. Only one i've seen to spit flames and he has nitrous, there is a video on you tube somewhere!

i know yes i am just playing really, getting bored ha fair enough there is a mazda rx8 that goes round by mine i belive its standerd just exhaust and little mods but spits flames just got me thinking

He'll have one of those sad little things that lights a bit of fuel at the end of the exhaust. These are in the same category as fake dump valve sound machines.
