Oil in the vac lines

when I had turbo changed there was oil in the vac lines enough to pour out and it was getting squeezed out when under boost

I put it down to the turbo blowing oil

Anyway I can smell oil took the vac line off to right of the slam panel and i can see oil there so its worse than before

any ideas where this oil is coming from ?

what creates the vac ?

Vacuum pump runs off the camshaft on the gearbox side of the engine. Likely there's a seal gone.

just looked on ebay for part ****** £50 will the costs of this car ever go down lol

Could be worse, have you seen the price of EGR's lol

lol in past 6 months its had new springs all round new inlet manifold,new turbo,full cam belt kit and new pulleys for aux belt and a full service only bought it mid march ive been trying to get the cash together for a remap but every time I get close its another bill

had a closer look this weekend theres no oil coming out of the vac motor when I take the hoses of theres not a drop of oil but there is where the plastic bit is on the slam panel

It's about £120+ new from Vauxhall.
