    Default activating the extras

Talking to a mate who tells me,if has access to a certain item that allows some little extras to be activated on my pride and joy,he has had auto locking activated on his astra and says it can be done on the vectra,is this right and what's this auto locking option all about, and are there any other little toys that are hiding away waiting to be discovered

Oh right don't really fancy all doors locking as I drive off in the case of a mishap and someone need to gain access to the car from the outside ie to get you out in the event of an accident, could see that causing a problem

that would not be a problem, as when airbag is released it unlocks the car.. all in the manual.

If ur doors are locked & you have an accident, they will automatically unlock.

Somewhere in the car will be an automatic switch, which detects a high G force and then unlocks the doors in the event of an accident.

all modern cars unlock if they are locked in the event of an accident

you can probably make your windows go up and down from fob and activate alarm noises and stuff you can do on most cars.

There's also a Vectra Secrets thread if you Search for it, lists a lot of stuff. Mostly all in the manual. I've set mine to autolock, had to do it with both fobs as originally it only worked with mine.
