    Default Dti owners

Please all dti owners please remove your egrs and intake manifold and flaps and clean them as mine is so much better since spending a few hours doing mine today. No cost and good benefits. No special tools needed just bit of time. Found oven cleaner removed the carbon with a stiff brush worked really well as did alloy wheel acid which I used when the wife saw me using all the oven cleaner lol.

    Hi,

How exactly is it better? I ask because I'm considering whether it's worth it or not.

I didn't take any after pics as my hands were so oily I didn't wanna get my phone out my pocket is the honest answer. It's better because it's smoother and slightly more responsive low down the range maybe as I feel the flaps were a bit stiff and not closing fully before the clean. Now nice and free. Also seams less smokey on hard throttle but that could be due to egr and boost sensor were also cleaned
