Default no hot air out of heater. please help!!!

Basically I replaced the thermostat on my car about 6 weeks ago. Had a few problems when fitting but sorted them out in the end.

The heaters have been working fine and temp gauge fine but went in car yesterday and no hot air coming out. Tried bleeding system bit still cold. Any suggestions?

Does sound a bit like an air lock. All I would normally do if I've had the rad drained is fill it up, start he engine, put the heater on warm and run it up to temp. Usually I leave the expansion bottle cap off, and give all the various rad hose a bit of a squeeze as it warms up to try and help force any air out of the system. Never failed yet.

I just don't get why it would get an airlock all off a sudden. I've tried running it for 20 minutes and bled the nipple but still no look

One thing I have noticed is that all the pipes are warm apart from the one going to the radiator. What would this indicate?

This indicates you have an air lock me old fruit,if all else fails you will have to drain back off again and refill ...open up the heater controls to hot, look at the bulkhead and remove the right hand heater matriix hose ,start to refill slowly and as soon as you see coolant coming from the disconnected hose quickly refit and continue to refill and keep squeezing the rubber hoses to the rad, this should dispel any air as you refill..good luck with it.
Dont undue the filler cap on expansion tank you need to pressurize the system ,run engine and just keep unscrewing and tightening as you go along, kep running until the fan kicks in

Have you tried removing the bleed screw with the engine running and the heater temp turned up full? Allow air to escape there?

Also try squeezing the pipes, to move the airlock along.

Right I bled all the system earlier squeezed pipes to get rid of air locks and didn't work so was out of ideas so whilst out earlier on I just decided to turn the heater gauge to cold and then back to hot and heard a little click and bingo all hot air started coming out so it's all working but don't know what the problem could have been lol
