    Default loose front bumper

    hi everyone i noticed today the gap between my front bumper & headlight seemed a bit big when i checked i could move the bumper up a little has anyone got any ideas how to fix this.thanks

    it's either the little plastic rivets missing in the front of the bumper where the bonnet closes down over it, or it's come out of the wing slides and needs tapping back in...

    Thats all that holds the top edge of the bumper skin on.. 2 tiny pushstud rivets and some friction fittings..

    the friction fittings wont stay in place they look a little worn down

    it that case you can buy the 'wing slides' from VX for about 4 quid a side.. they rivet on, so are easy to change...

    it's time to get that bumper off...

    And when you put back it back try and find some better ways of securing it. The one on my astra G, which fixes in much the same way, was almost stolen for the second time the other night. Only cos I had secured it in better after the first time it was nicked made them make too much noise and were disturbed by a neighbour. They are too easy to get off without even lifting the bonnet! I'm gonna be coating the bl00dy thing in anthrax this time!!!

    3 pop rivets in each into the wing...

    too right, sneeze and it can fall off......

    Can i suggest plugging the astra into the mains???
