Auto dim mirror question

For those of you who have this factory fitted,

Do your side mirrors auto dim?

As said by 'plasma' the Elite's have them on the drivers side only. This means I still get dazzled by the car behind but only from the passenger mirror ! When I first bought my Elite I enquired about the passenger door autodim glass (would be a LHD drivers mirror) but Vauxhall wanted over £120 !

That is the perfect answer guys cheers, lol i noticed my drivers door mirror dimmed as well.

so in theory a left hand drive "elite" would have dimming on there side mirror ?
looks like i need to make friends in other countries lol

Or look on eBay.de as is slightly different shape .... Normally u should be paying around £50 mark for it

Is it a noticable difference in shape? if so id rather not have one lol i may just tint the glass with some legal tint

Not much but is drivers side in Europe so u can adjust mirror anyway , what I mean is if I look at both driver and passenger mirror housings they not exactly symmetrical

I've just purchased one of the German drivers door mirrors to try to achieve just this. Can't help you much right now though because it is still in the DHL Delivery System

What did you type in search for looking for it mate? I've tried a few descriptions but no luck so far.

It was mé that made the seach for him :-D you just have to seach in german. but there not all know what they sell, so just use "Spiegel Vectra" and "Spiegel signum"

and look throug all of Them there are a few.
